Energy discounts

Our energy discounts apply to the energy usage component of your account and are applied as a percentage discount to the Australian Power & Gas standing tariffs or rates that are relevant to your home.

Up front rebates

Our up front rebates are applied as a credit on your first Australian Power & Gas gas account.

Prompt payment discounts

Our prompt payment discounts are applied as a percentage discount of the total amount due for the usage and supply charge costs. The account must be paid in full by the due date to receive the discount.

Loyalty bonuses

Our loyalty bonuses are credited to your account at set intervals if your accounts have been paid in full by the due date.

Cancellation fee

Our fixed term contracts have a cancellation fee. The fee will vary depending on your plan, but they range from $20 (ex GST) to $80 (ex GST). If you're moving to a new location serviced by Australian Power & Gas, you can move your energy contract with you and avoid the cancellation fee. Just call us on 133 298 and we will arrange this for you.

Your gas account

You’ll receive an Australian Power & Gas gas account on bi-monthly basis.

Tariff structure

The tariff structure is how your energy is billed. It may be comprised of peak usage, shoulder usage, off peak usage and supply charge. Australian Power & Gas uses the Australian Power & Gas standing tariff (Victoria) or rate (New South Wales and Queensland) that is relevant to your home.
