GREENTRICITY

Australian Power & Gas currently has greentricity offers for residential customers in Victoria, and some parts of Queensland and New South Wales.

Our greentricity programme allows you to have 10%, 50% (Victoria only) or 100% of the electricity your home uses to be offset by Renewable Energy Certificates (RECS). The cost for greentricity is the relevant Australian Power & Gas standing tariff or rate for your home, plus a green premium (an additional weekly charge). The green premium depends on the percentage of green energy you want and the type of contract you sign - electricity only or gas and electricity (currently Victoria only).

greentricity is government accredited and carries the GreenPower 'tick'.

An accredited GreenPower product will always carry the 'tick' logo. This accreditation label is supported and managed by governments throughout Australia. When you decide to purchase clean, renewable energy make sure you look for the accredited GreenPower 'tick' logo. Contract terms?
If you don't want to lock in to a fixed term contract that's fine by us. We offer both fixed term and no fixed term arrangements for greentricity.

Cancellation fee?
Our fixed term contracts (50% and 10% greentricity) have a cancellation fee of $30 (ex GST). If you're moving to a new location serviced by Australian Power & Gas, you can move your energy contract with you and avoid the cancellation fee. Just call us on 133 298 and we will arrange this for you.

Your electricity account?
You’ll receive an Australian Power & Gas electricity account on a quarterly basis.

Tariff structure?
The tariff structure is how your energy is billed. It may be comprised of peak usage, shoulder usage, off peak usage and supply charge. Australian Power & Gas uses the Australian Power & Gas standing tariff (Victoria) or rate (New South Wales and Queensland) that is relevant to your home.
