Australian Power & Gas has two natural gas plans to choose from for Victorian residents:

1. Simplicity Plus
2. Savings Plus

Gas is only available as part of a gas and electricity contract.

*Victorian gas accounts will be sent by mail on a bi-monthly basis.

Compare gas prices
To compare Australian Power & Gas gas prices to the Regulated Prices that apply to your home simply go to our Product Information page. The Product Information page will only show regulated prices for Victoria only. We hope to have offers to residents in other states in the near future.

Energy discounts
Our energy discounts apply to the energy usage component of your account and are applied as a percentage discount to the regulated retail tariffs that are relevant to your supply address

Up front discounts
Our up front discounts are applied as a credit on your first Australian Power & Gas energy account.

Prompt payment discounts
Our prompt payment discounts are applied as a percentage discount of the total amount due for the usage and supply charge costs. The account must be paid in full by the due date to receive the discount.

Contract terms
If you don't want to lock in to a fixed term contract that's fine by us. We offer both fixed term and no fixed term arrangements.

Cancellation fee
Our fixed term contracts have a cancellation fee. The fee you pay reduces in each year of your contract: $60 if contract is cancelled in first year, $50 if cancelled in second year, $40 if cancelled in third year (GST will be applied if applicable).

If you're moving to a new location serviced by Australian Power & Gas you can move your energy plan with you and avoid the cancellation fee. Just call us on 133 298 and we will arrange this for you.

Your energy account
You will receive an Australian Power & Gas energy account by mail on a quarterly basis.

Victorian gas accounts will be sent by mail on a bi-monthly basis.

Tariff structure
Tariff structure is how your energy is billed. It is comprised of peak usage, off peak usage & supply charge. Australian Power & Gas uses the same tariff structure as the regulated retail tariffs that are relevant to your supply address.

At the moment, we only offer gas as part of a combined gas and electricity contract. If you chose a combined contract, you will be on the same product plan for each fuel - that is, either simplicity plus for gas and electricity, or savings plus for gas and electricity.
