Our greentricity program offers Victorian residents the choice to have 10%, 50% or 100% of the electricity we purchase on your behalf to be sourced from accredited renewable energy (the sun, wind, water and waste).

The cost for greentricity is the relevant regulated price for your household plus a green premium (an additional weekly charge). The green premium depends on the percentage of green energy you want and the type of contract you sign (electricity only or gas and electricity).

Our greentricity has the GreenPower tick of approval. An accredited GreenPower product will always carry the 'tick' logo. This accreditation label is supported and managed by governments throughout Australia. When you decide to purchase clean, renewable energy make sure you look for the accredited GreenPower 'tick' logo. greentricity is government accredited and carries the GreenPower 'tick'.

Contract terms
If you don't want to lock in to a fixed term contract that's fine by us. We offer both fixed term and no fixed term arrangements.

Cancellation fee
Our fixed term contracts have a cancellation fee. In New South Wales, Queensland & Victoria greentricity 10% will incur no cancellation fee. greentricity 50% & greentricity 100%  may incur a fee of $30 if the contract cancelled at any time during the contract period (GST will be applied if applicable).

If you're moving to a new location serviced by Australian Power & Gas you can move your energy plan with you and avoid the cancellation fee. Just call us on 133 298 and we will arrange this for you.

Your energy account
You will receive an Australian Power & Gas energy account by mail on a quarterly basis.

Tariff structure
Tariff structure is how your energy is billed. It is comprised of peak usage, off peak usage & supply charge. Australian Power & Gas uses the same tariff structure as the regulated retail tariffs that are relevant to your supply address.
